Our History
Based on the success of BJT
Brisbane Junior Theatre (BJT) is a youth based not-for-profit theatre company producing Broadway Musicals acted by young performers aged 5-18 years. Many of the graduates from BJT were still in contact with us and were looking for opportunities for further training and performing in full feature length productions.
In 2005 we began with our first adult production RENT and have since produced 34 musicals and plays. In 2018 we bought the name Brisbane Musical Theatre and have since produced several shows a year.

The Creative Team
All our productions, rehearsals and workshops are run by a team of trained professionals who have active roles in the theatrical and musical industry. Through a performance driven training method, our team cultivates increased confidence and a passion to pursue and improve their techniques and skills.
